The TexVet Initiative is currently working to ensure that the 2-1-1 Telephone-Based Information and Referral Network:
-
Contains all the information about available services for veterans, military personnel and their families.
- Develops comprehensive information about health, family, and community issues and resources related to military service.
- Accumulates current information about the clinical care of combat trauma with emphasis on promoting functional recovery through the VA Center of Excellence for Stress Disorders and Mental Health.
