About This Event: 

Regular Veterans clinics take place every Friday from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston.

If you need legal advice for basic civil legal services, check for a veterans legal clinic in your area.

Civil practice areas covered in veterans legal clinics include but are not necessarily limited to: Bankruptcy Child Support Consumer/Contracts Divorce or Custody/Guardianship/Probate Landlord/Tenant Wills/Estate Planning Employment Housing, and Tax

What kind of legal help is available for me?

Free legal advice is given at every clinic. Legal issues may include family law, landlord/tenant issues, wills and probate, property, tax, disability and benefit claims, and more.

Free legal representation is available if you qualify.

Saturday Clinics are held in other counties on designated dates.

***Please note that most legal clinics require an appointment to attend. Contact the individual clinics for more information or to sign up. Pro bono clinics for veterans are available in all metropolitan areas of the state, including Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio, as well as in smaller communities, such as Bastrop, Beaumont, Denton, Galveston, and Midland-Odessa.
